Regardless of the current generation consoles that are out now, PC games are still some of the best rated games of any system. The graphics displayed from a PC is actually different than what you would get from your consoles.

Typically, PCs use either a single or double graphics card capability. The SLI motherboard probably produces the best graphics and is a great bang for your buck. This card will not only help with lag, but will also help produce a clearer image.

One of the great things about the PC is the ability to upgrade its hardware without having to buy an entirely new system. It is possible to upgrade video game consoles, but then there are a whole bunch of piracy issues attached to that, so it's better to just leave it alone.

PC games are probably always going to be better than the console version . The reason for this is because most people have the latest computer technology which can play new video games with a nice clear image.

If you are the type of gamer that likes to play a whole bunch of different software titles, then buying a console is probably your best bet. On the other hand, if you're going to stick to playing fewer games and you're one for titles like Counterstrike or Call Of Duty, than a computer is probably for you. If you really want to beaf up your computer then you're going to need at least two gigs of RAM. You will also need a good graphics card. You can probably search online and find a great gaming computer for less than $1200.

I'm talking about top of the line for that cost. The great thing about buying a top-of-the-line computer like this is that you probably won't have to upgrade it for another 10 years. So, go online and find a gaming computer that you want for the price that you're looking for. Don't forget though to get yourself a flatscreen display. This is so you can play your games on a nice high-resolution screen.
