The most basic requirement in order to be successful at this game is to know the value of the deck of cards by heart, if you don't know that a K has higher value than a Q and lower value than an ace then you might want to study a bit about card games and the value of each card.
The thrill of the game is that you can take the whole pyramid down as fast as your brain can match the use of the cards with those found at the bottom of the pyramid and obviously if you're playing against another player you will win money if you are the fastest one.
